The selected works here are from a series, dating from 2002 -2010

Employing a diversity of references as starting points, from personal photographs through to newspaper images, this work seeks to explore the nature of the representation of the human form as visual image in paintings and graphic works.

References to the idea of family are utilized, with  paintings of close personal connections being used as symbolic figurative structures to explore the idea of 'family and image'.

This series of work alludes to memory and the passage of time. The work depicts moments frozen in time, images presented as both reality and illusion.
